About Memories Divine, Portland Wedding Videographer

 

Hello there! My name is Brigit and I created Memories Divine in 2019 to make wedding videography more accessible. I remember trying to look for a wedding videographer for my own wedding and feeling frustrated at how expensive everything was. 

 

It was difficult to find someone who checked all of my boxes and was within my budget. That’s when I knew I wanted to offer something different.

 

While there are many talented videographers here in Oregon, there are not many that are affordable for the average couple. This is why people often skip wedding videography. That’s where Memories Divine comes in! 

 

The first wedding I ever had the pleasure of shooting was for my dear friend Melanie. She informed me that she did not have a wedding videographer for her special day and I knew I wanted her to have that. 

 

So I picked up my DSLR that I have been using as a hobby and decided to learn how to use film with it. After that, I began to book more weddings and with that, upgraded my gear but remained true to my mission of accessibility and affordability. 

 

After successfully filming various weddings in Oregon, I have decided to continue this passion for storytelling through wedding videography. I absolutely fell in love with the whole process! I love everything about weddings and am honored to be a part of your special day!

 

We believe that the wedding industry should have budgets starting from what an average couple can reasonably afford. But don’t worry! We do not compromise on storytelling at all! In fact, storytelling is our strength. 

 

We started in Portland, Oregon but now can go all the way up to Salem, the coast, and all around Oregon! Keep in mind though, if the drive is farther than an hour and a half, there will be a charge for travel reimbursement. These are all things I am happy to discuss during our phone call.

 

Let’s talk about what happens during our first phone consultation. This is where we discuss the various locations of your wedding day. For example, where will you be getting ready? Are the bride and groom going to be in the same location pre-wedding? How many locations will the wedding day take place in? This is a very helpful process because it helps us gauge whether one or two videographers should be present on your special day.
